The IGS-6416XSFP, a powerful L2 + Ethernet switch, offers 16 100 / 1000T and 4 1G / 2.5G / 10G Auto Sensing SFP + ports. It delivers ITU G.8032 enhanced ring recovery in less than 20ms. It also supports train ring, enhanced mode with easy configuration and many other important features required in large networks, like QoS, TACACS+, SSH/SSL or DHCP Option 82.

For a stronger and reliable network protection, the IGS-6416XSFP is able to alert with the LED indicator if there are any failures. This could be a fault by pre-set ring configuration or looped by miss-wiring. As a result, the switch disables the ring automatically and the repowered auto ring restore function (Node failure protection) makes sure the other switches remain intact after power breakout is back.

The user friendly UI, innovative auto topology drawing and topology demo makes IGS-6416XSFP much easier to get hands-on. A professional engineer can also configure the settings by command line with the complete CLI. Many other features can be controlled with the web interface like the settings for event alerting or the environmental monitoring.

Lantech IGS-6416XSFP features high reliability and robustness coping with extensive EMI/RFI phenomenon, environmental vibration and shocks usually found in factory, substation, steel automation, aviation, mining and process control.
Featured with relay contact alarm function, the IGS-6416XSFP is able to connect with alarm system in case of power failure or port disconnection. Furthermore, the switch provides ±2000V EFT and ±6000V ESD protection, which can reduce unstable situation caused by power line and Ethernet.

It is the best solution for Automation, transportation, surveillance, Wireless backhaul and Semi-conductor factory applications. In addition, the -E model can be used in extreme environments with an operating temperature range of -40°C to 75°C.
